A huge photogram Daguerreotype, depicting the Scuderia Ferrari emblem
with its iconic prancing horse. Image size 300mm x 300mm .

This equals the largest CBW Daguerreotype made to date. At a vast 300mm square,
the logistics of making this image was ambitious and proved problematic.
The result however, is stunning.
CBW was asked to make a Daguerreotype for the new Emma Thompson written film
EFFIE 2012. The image is of Bernini's statue of Apollo and Daphne. It will appear in the film
with the Daguerreotype camera also supplied to the company.
Also in 2011. The latest pieces are based on fossilised skeletons sometimes
found when rocks are split. They are montages on overexposed Daguerreotype
plates to create unusual colours and effects. Each one has been made many
times until the uncontrollable, desired effect has been revealed.
The pictures have
been slighty 'distressed' by hand.These images are protected in black frames measuring
15" x 13.5".
The use of museum Art non reflective glass make it appear that there is 'no glass'
They are as usual pure silver and are tested and Hallmarked at the London Assay Office.

2010 sees the commencement of a new series of images. The series
contains the discourse that I believe is important when spending so much
time and effort creating these photographic illustrations. The love and life
of Pierrot provides the stimulation for the series. The images were selected
for an exhibitions at Daguerres' house nr Paris celebrating 170 years since the
Daguerreotype was 'released' in Paris. The Pierrot series are cased in
Carbon Fibre cases and are for sale at £1495.00 each

The first images displayed are the 2008/9 La Nature Morte Series. These were painstakingly
long still lives involving various animal skulls. Each contains a story. The La Nature Morte series

I can now make your favourite image into a pure silver hallmarked Daguerreotytpe. All you need do is provide a good
quality photograph (black and white or colour). I then 'process' your image and make you a unique Daguerreotype.
Your original image is not damaged and will be returned.
The cost of this service is £450.00 for a 4 inch by 5 inch pure silver hallmarked plate. This image will be sealed behind glass. It
can of course be mounted in a Christopher Brenton West Carbon Fibre case for an added £250.00. One half of the fee will have
to be paid before the commission can commence, with the balance required upon collection. If you wish to have the image supplied
